Hi there! Welcome to Consciencia | Mindful. My name is Mignon, and I am a registered Wellness Counsellor.

I started Consciencia | Mindful for people who need a helping hand when it comes to different aspects of life, whether they just want to tell their story and be heard or need tools to be able to better manage and cope with life stresses.

I love listening to people and their stories, because I believe that listening can make the biggest difference in someone’s life, and you can learn a lot about someone just by actively listening.

I have been on my own journey, and I have found a deep love for helping people, whether it’s little children, young adults, mothers and father, or elders.

I have worked in various fields, volunteered at different organisations and done outreach programmes to help those in need. I have worked with children on the spectrum, and I have found that I became very passionate about it.

Every individual that I have ever helped, I feel like I have created a bond with them on a deeper level, even if I don’t know their whole story.

I try to incorporate things I am passionate about into my daily life and work environment, because the more heart and soul there is, the safer the space to just be yourself.

I enjoy creating art and music, learning more about different aspects of life, finding creative and innovative ways to make sustainable change, and laughing with others.

Laughter is one of the simplest ways to make someone else’s, or your own, day, even when it seems like nothing can make things better. Feel free to bring a joke or two to our sessions, I’d love to laugh with you too!
